The answer is…ask usđŸ™‚ I have been a professional musician, digital piano consultant, and piano & keyboard teacher for many years and I have played just about every digital and acoustic piano out there over the years, including the latest models.
With all that in mind, if you want your children or yourself to take piano lessons, it is very important to find a piano teacher who is friendly, encouraging, and is a good fit for not only your musical goals and abilities, but who will also work closely with you to help you musically to get you where you want to be at. You or your children do have to put in “the work,” and practice, so to speak. But the teacher needs to be good at motivating you and helping you to do well, and there are some teachers who do a great job at that, and others who may not “connect” with you so well.
Piano teachers are not all built “alike” and they all have different abilities and experiences. Some piano teachers are better with different age groups and abilities than others. So finding a piano teacher who is friendly, motivational, experienced, and can get you to where you want to musically go, assuming you will do what’s expected of you, is not always easy. But playing piano at a good skill level can be an amazing experience, especially if you love music.
