UPDATED REVIEW – July 3, 2016 – CASIO AP620 piano is long DISCONTINUED and has been replaced by the current model AP650 which is much improved over the older AP620. – The Casio AP620 was a good piano in its day, but the newer Celviano AP series is far better and vastly upgraded in terms of realistic piano key action, piano sound, and pedaling sustain response along with digital features. Go to the following link to read about the new Casio AP650: Casio AP650 Review

2010 model Casio AP620: Casio has had some nice digital pianos in the past, but Yamaha, Kawai, and Roland were generally better, although more money. However, the Casio Celviano AP620 home furniture cabinet digital piano for $1399 internet price, is (in my opinion) out in front of the other major brands in the lower price range. It has many upgraded features with fairly good acoustic upright piano touch and tone in a nice cabinet.

Casio AP620 digital piano This model also has a sturdy sliding key cover and a larger built-in stereo speaker system than other models in this price range to deliver very good volume and tone. Casio has, for the first time, designed the keys to duplicate the look and feel of real satin ivory piano keys and they do look and feel great. With 250 instrument tones, a 16-track sequencer recorder and song playback system on SD card, educational features for students, and a touch & tone that is like that of a full upright piano, this piano does it all and then some. And the Casio factory warranty is a pretty strong one with 3 years parts & labor.
