I live in an area where it is almost impossible to try out any of these mid priced ($1500-$3000ish) pianos. Even the big box stores don’t have them on the floor to try.
Reviews from the major internet retailers are usually not very detailed, and let’s face it, they are trying to sell gear, so you never see negative reviews.
Thank goodness for places like this. Lengthy, honest, in depth reviews helped me make the choice between the Kawai ES920, the Roland FP90, and the Yamaha P525.
You would think you’d pay a premium for that, but Tim got me a price BELOW what the big box guys were selling it for.
Do yourself a favor….ignore the unpolished look of the website, ignore the fact it’s only two people. Trust these guys…..
